Parents angry over kissing and raunchy scenes by Britney and Rihanna

MailOnline:  Kissing, sexy dance routines on a recent TV show by pop stars, Rihanna and Britney Spears, have made parents furious according to the Parents Television Council (‘PTC’) which called the stars’ performance at the Billboards Music Awards:  ‘..a Vegas stripper show…totally was unsuitable for young children’.

The parent’s lobbying group is calling on families and advertisers to boycott the event which was shown on ABC network owned by family friendly Disney.

According to TPC spokesman Tim Winter: ‘It certainly has no place at 8:00 p.m. on the publicly-owned broadcast airwaves ..I cannot imagine what would possibly lead the ABC television network to air a profanity-laced, S&M sex show on primetime broadcast television… the overtly sexualized performance by Rihanna and Britney Spears was no accident or mishap, but a deliberate effort to target teens with images and lyrics that glamorize whips, chains and other sexual fantasies.’

There have been no complaints from young viewers thus far and the stars and ABC have made not comments.
