Parading Queen’s horse killed in front of horrified crowd

[Sandra Higgs, UK News Contributor]

MailOnline: Murphy, one of the Queen’s horses passed away as a result of a horrible accident when he took part in the Royal Gun Salute  today which happens yearly in Britain to celebrate the crowning of the Queen.

The incident occurred today when King’s Troop‘s soldiers were parading when Murphy stumbled whilst running and his legs got caught up in the wheels of one of the carriages on parade. As a result poor Murphy was dragged on the ground for several meters and sustained injuries so severe that he had to be disposed of immediately by lethal injection by a vet who was called to the scene of the incident, with the event’s terrified crowd looking on.

The Queen has made no comment thus far upon Murphy’s demise and it is not known whether a police enquiry will take place as result of the incident.

Murphy was a popular and good-natured horse and it seems, will be sadly missed by his colleagues in the Kings Troops.

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s state visit to UK a big hit

Picture source MailOnline – beautiful First Lady, Michelle Obama, in near miss wardrobe malfunction

MailOnline:  The Obamas‘ state visit to the UK seemed to be a big hit with all from the meetings with UK Prime Minister, David Cameron to that with the British royal family at Buckingham Palace.

Discussions between the politicians were reported to be warm and constructive with every hint of the ‘elusive’ special relationship in the air.

It is reported that points discussed covered how to induce ‘a sense of optimism and national mission’, whilst attending to declining living standards and the re-establishment of economies severely damaged by the financial crisis. Climate change, foreign policy challenges in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Libya also were featured in the discussions.

The emergence of England’s newest royal ‘queen’, James Middleton

[Arnold Brown, Royal Contributor]

The brother of the newest member of the British royal family, Kate Middleton, is the worldwide gay community‘s newest icon as a site (http://www.fleshbot.com) showing nude and gay-themed photos (as featured above) of the dashing aristocrat, has got close to 500,000 hits in less than a week. Elsewhere on the Internet, ‘James Middleton gay’ continues to bring in countless hits.

All that together with a still unrejected offer by the adult film producer, Steven Hirsch, for James to appear in an adult film for $1 million for one scene, is giving rise to speculation that  James will truly modernise the rather po face of the British monarchy.

Keep it up James (pardon the pun!).

Pippa Middleton response to $5 million porn offer from Stephen Hirsch

[Cheps Stunker, Celebrities Contributor]

TMZ  Steven Hirsch, the USA-based multi-millionaire producer of adult films, has offered the youngest sister of Kate Middleton (right of the picture), a starring role in a porn film which will enable her to have a choice of partner, or partners and for one scene only to get a whopping $5 million.  Mr. Hirsh also offered $1 million for her brother James for the same service.

Whilst the world awaits Pippa‘s response to Mr. Hirsch’s rather interesting public offer, there are concerns that it may have spoiled the high-society flavour of the ‘wedding of the century’ event of the marriage of her sister, Kate Middleton to a future king of England.

Since the recent widely-publicised British royal wedding, Pippa Middleton has gone on to be the world hottest media celebrity.

Covert racism and poor diplomacy spoils royal wedding

Rollingout.com describes the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton as a ‘royal slap to blacks’. The comment is gaining increasingly in momentum simply because there were hardly any black faces at all at this royal wedding of the year.
u
But, ‘so what?’, royalists are saying. Well, it seems to matter for blacks as in particular, Prince William is second in the line of succession, behind Prince Charles, to the thrones of the sixteen independent sovereign states that make up the Commonwealth realms which, like the UK,  have significant numbers of black people as citizens (eg, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis).

The noble prince, is also second in line, behind his father, Prince Charles, to the position of Head of the Commonwealth (an organisation of some 54 nation states that include many African and Asian states).

Again, as for the world’s most prominent black family, the Obamas, many Americans are wondering why they had not been invited.  Royal commentators were quick to comment by saying that was because the occasion was not a state one, but private.  Daily Mail: “Because Prince William is not yet heir to the throne, his wedding to Kate Middleton is not classed as a ‘state occasion’ — and the couple feel under no pressure to fill the 2,000-strong guest list with heads of state.”

Well, the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer was a private affair, but then the Reagans had been invited. President Reagan could not attend as he was ill, but his wife, Nancy Reagan did attend. The Reagans were also invited to the wedding of Prince Andrew and Sara Ferguson – also not a ‘state’ occasion.

Commonwealth commentators are saying that whilst the noble prince is keen to up his PR message as a representative of the royal family abroad especially in African states where photos of him abound with African kids portraying him as a genuine representative of the Queen as Head of State of the Commonwealth of Nations.  In that respect, it is being said,  it is surprising that his wedding did not indicate that he is privately up to the job of being a true friend of the many blacks who are citizens of Commonwealth countries of which his family are in ascendancy and who in due course, himself and his wife, will increasingly represent.

UK’s Kate Middleton – some are more equal than others

MailOnline: The future wife of Britain’s Prince William, Kate Middleton, is getting into the swing of the perks of being a royal as when she visited a London store last week, she didn’t pay the £4 parking ticket and got away with it.

By the account of those watching the incident, the incoming royal, parked her car into a ‘pay and display‘ area and tumbled out into the fashionable Peter Jones store in Chelsea.  A while later, two traffic wardens turned up and began the ticketing process, but were shooed away by the incoming royal’s police protection officer.
