The British have spoken with their wallets and have taken Apple’s iPhone off the top peg to 6th place in the leage of ‘must-have’ smartphones. People are saying that the iPhone is ‘smart’ as a mobile, but it’s price isn’t and as a result, they are on the hunt for cheaper options.
HTC‘s ‘Desire‘ is now top of the list of the Brits’ most sought after smartphone. HTC is a Taiwanese-based company which started in 1997 as a computer manufacturer.
MailOnline reports that HTC’s ‘Desire’ is getting rave reviews: Flora Graham, of CNET UK: ‘HTC has packed every feature under the sun into the Desire, along with a slick user interface and plenty of processing power. The Desire is a smartphone that inspires lust’.
Hannah Bouckley of T3 said: ‘It’s a strong contender for phone of the year, and sure to be number one with technophiles for the foreseeable future.’
