[Sergey Yankovski, Russia News Contributor]

BBC News reports that the man who had taken lives of thirty-five people at Moscow’s international airport Domodedovo has been apparently identified. It says that Russia’s Federal Investigating Committee alleges that the perpetrator was a young man from North Caucasus, a region known as one of  the ‘hottest spots’ in Russia as regards the level of terrorism threat and amount of military interventions in the past 10 years.

Russian authorities are saying that the attack was primarily aimed at international visitors.

What do you think? Has Al Qaeda expanded to Russia? Was the attack made against internationals? Should the Baltics and Russia’s neighbours be worried? Let us have your views…
