Latvians in Paradise in the UK – Telegraph Report 27 1 2011

A young Latvian left his home in Northern Europe after learning about the lax laws on evictions in the UK. The Telegraph reports today that his is now living like a king with his friends in an empty 10-bed Victorian home in London’s Highgate where there is running water and heating for all his needs.

So you are asking, how much is this costing him? Nothing is the answer!  So for Latvians facing hard times in Latvia, this could be a welcome blessing which means that struggling Latvians in their home country where utility bills on average cost around 300 pounds per month could find their own version of paradise in the UK.  Read on to find out more and let us have your views…
